void does not have accounts, ads, analytics, or a developer-operated server. We do not collect or sell personal data.

data on your device

void stores your selected apps, protected places, blocking and pause state, and recent protected-session times locally on your device. App selections are represented by opaque tokens provided by Apple. Per-app Screen Time results remain inside Apple’s privacy-protected Device Activity report and are not copied into void’s shared storage.

location

If you enable location automation, void uses your location to activate blocking at places you choose. Place names and coordinates are stored locally. Map searches and geocoding may be processed by Apple’s MapKit and geocoding services. void does not send location to a developer-operated service.

retention and deletion

Protected-session times are pruned to an eight-day reporting window when statistics are evaluated. You can delete void’s selections, places, progress, pause state, diagnostics, notifications, and shields from Setup → Delete all void data. Deleting the app also removes its local data. Permissions can be revoked separately in Settings.
